I downloaded the new mission for oblivion tonight and beat it in about 30 minutes. I think the experience was good but, not worth 200 points to purchase. Bethesda should have given this download away for free in my opinion. The adventure starts out with a letter you have received form the caretaker of the Orrery in the imperial city. Some bandits have stolen the parts to make the Orrery work. Who do they call to fix that problem? You guessed it.
You start out to the north of Kvatch. The first camp," Camp Ales" you square off against a Bandit carrier and a Bandit Hedge Wizard. They were pretty easy to beat. Just block and counter and the fight will be over quickly. My character is level 12 and the bandit carrier seemed to dispense all the good stuff. She drops a Mace of Dissolution and that about it. There are four more of these camps, Camp Varus, Camp Bodean, Camp Dagay, and Camp Brotch. All of these are about the same, kill the bandits and get the stolen part from the bandit carrier. On the way to Camp Dagay I notice a small lake with a skeleton and a chest, no real treasure just thought it was kind neat, also pick a nirnroot at that lake. One other note, careful when kill the bandits in the grass some items tend to disappear in the tall grass.
Once you have completed that part of the quest, return the parts to the imperial city. Once the Orrery is active (which is the coolest part of the whole side adventure), you will be reward with the Masser's Grace Spell (Fortify Agility 20 pts for 60 secs, Drain Endurance 20 pts for 60 secs, cast once a day. Thanks for reading.

Total War products continue to amaze me with their detail to real life battles and the history behind them. Being a history teacher, I teach about Rome, the Medieval Ages and Alexander the Great, so I appreciate the level of detail these games provide.
Having played Rome TW for awhile, Alexander was a game I had to acquire. Its map focus on Alexanders conquests from Mesopotamia to Egypt to Persia and into in India are intense. I havent played through a whole campaign yet but it is definitly fun. I especially love the Phalanx formation and its power on the battle field at this time. There is no better way to victory than engaging Hoplites with a phalanx formation at the enemy's center and then using Alexander's Companion Cavalry to attack the flanks while they are engaged. Just wonderful!

For years I've been looking for a turn-based strategy game to engage me as much as the Civilization series has. This is one of the few that has come closest. I love the ability to control time, and find that this is a very good strategy game...well worth a look if you enjoy turn-based strategy games. For me, though, it's not good enough to usurp the Civilization series as the best turn-based strategy game ever.

Diablo II is a dark fantasy RPG that takes place in a world caught in the middle of a war between angels and demons. Diablo has risen once again and you are all that stands between the world and the fires of Hell.
I just got this game this year, a good 10 years after its original release. There are a handful of negatives marring this title. First, the save system is a pain in the but. You really can't save your location, and you can only save by exiting the game. Second, there is a lot of screwing around with the inventory. I have spent way to much time juggling and rearranging items, of which there are a lot. Half the time I have to return to the camp to sell off the junk I pick up. Third, the graphics are rather ugly. The gothic art is wonderful, and the monsters and attacks are all very clear, but the graphics are highly pixelated and were primitive even when they were new.
Finally, the game has a fair amount of repetition. There is a bit of grind involved, and certain areas of the game just has you hording off weak monsters with the same few attacks.
Having said all of that, this game is an absolute blast. Each class is interesting and can be developed in countless ways. The story is engrossing, and while occasionally repetitive, I found that my tactics changing frequently as the game progressed. Do not let the first act fool you: this game gets hard. I breezed through it, only to be killed quickly in the second act by flaming archers. You fight all sorts of ghouls and demons in a variety of locations as you try to stop the forces of hell.
I have heard many good things about the multiplayer aspect. If you are looking to quest online. without spending the time and money involved in world of warcraft, this game will tide you over nicely. Having said that, the single player is rather epic, and will tide you over for a long time.
There is one downside to all of this: the game costs 40 dollars. I could justify the old battlechest at this price, as the original Diablo was included for posterity's sake. With Mac OS X and Windows 7 making Diablo 1 unplayable, updating the battlechest in this fashion makes sense. Still, it is a bit steep. Wait until it goes on sale. I mean, this game is worth it, but just on principle, it is a lot for a decade old game, no matter how good.
Bonus points for being fully playable on Mac OS X. Thank you Blizzard!

I purchased all of the old Majesty 2 The Fantasy Kingdom Sim that was put on the market and I really liked these. When Majesty 2 came along, I had been waiting for years for this to happen, and after playing the demo, purchased the game.
I have not been sorry I did. It is a great game with better graphics and other things than the original version due to technological advancement since then and some changes by the new company doing the publishing. But not that much has been changed an it still adherees pretty much to the old Majesty sims. True there are not the cheat codes from the old but, a good trainer takes care of this and if you are up on that sort of thing you can do it yourself to make it more to your liking. Or play it straight without either cheats or trainers, whichever you prefer. Unlike some of the other games that have been redone and butchered to the point the are only a game that resembles their counterparts of old, and are difficult to play and donot half way work right, or force you to use some loader such as Steam, which you do not need or want. This one is straight. No Steam or anyother loaders. You load straight from the game and it works perfectly. The only thing I have noticed is that, the editor is a bith hard to handle unless you print out the instructions but once you do this, it isn't that difficult to make your own scenarios.
I like this game and play it often and I intend to buy the add on even though I will have to download this since it is not available on DVD in boxed version anywhere but Russia. This is the only fault I have found that I don't especially like but I will do it nonetheless, because the game is worth it. If you are a fan of the old Majesty sims you will love the new ones. They are not that expensive and are definately worth buying.

Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim Overview
In the world of Majesty, you are the ruler of the kingdom. At your service are your loyal and somewhat obnoxious subordinates, who have their own minds about how things should be done. In fact, Majesty is the only game where your heroes decide on their own what should be done and when, leaving you to try to control them through monetary incentives.
I played this game when I was younger. I keep up with videogame news and when I found out in 07 (I think) that SC2 was coming out I knew I had to get back into this, it took a while, but I bought a few weeks ago. Playing the campaign again really brings back memories, it's a really great story for a videogame, epic in proportions and it features a lot of human conflict. As for the multiplayer, that's another story all together. Most of the people online have probably been playing since 98, whenever I go online I get my ass kicked, but I say that this multiplayer is very much like chess, only it's not turn-based, everyone moves around at the same time. It's really awesome, buy this game ==>> essential title.

StarCraft Battle Chest Overview
The StarCraft Battle Chest is an incredible package of the great StarCraft games, on one DVD!
StarCraft Battle Chest Specifications
The full versions of StarCraft and the acclaimed expansion pack Brood War, as well as complete strategy guides for each, make StarCraft: Battle Chest a treasure chest for real-time strategy fans.
Instead of two similarly powered enemies facing off, the three distinct races in StarCraft have unique capabilities and strategies. Everyone still competes in the RTS genre's typical race for resources, but that's the only shared trait. Terrans can move their bulky mechanized bases as necessary, while the reptilian Zerg grow their colonies and warriors from mutating larvae. Meanwhile, the noble Protoss warp in equipment from their home world using psionic powers.
Not only does game maker Blizzard juggle the races' playability and match it with superb art and sound effects, it also weaves together an engrossing three-act plot. Early on, as a Terran magistrate, you spend a breathtaking 30 minutes defending against a Zerg onslaught. As the story unfolds around you, you'll experience the Zerg's hive mentality and decipher the mysterious Protoss by the game's dramatic conclusion.
Missions vary in scope and are effectively framed with dialogue, chapter screens, and in-mission exposition. Multiplayer games are also very well represented by Blizzard's own free Battle.net service. If you'd rather play over a local area network, StarCraft will generously "spawn" up to seven copies so your friends can join in.
In keeping with StarCraft's groundbreaking design, Brood War presents you with three sides of a galactic conflict. Scheming humans, insidious Zerg, and proud Protoss collide again, with stunning new cinematics setting the stage. Old friends and foes and ominous new arrivals give the story a breakneck pace, while a handful of additions to each race's arsenal makes for tense battles. Brood War also features stellar new environments and ambient art, as well as more than 100 additional multiplayer maps.
Some missions require a bit of finesse, breaking the resource-gathering routine while making good use of the new units. Humans now have Valkyrie missile frigates as well as medics who automatically try to heal your grunts. New for the Zerg air force is the acid-spewing Devourer; the new Lurker unit provides heavy-duty (under)ground support. Along with the Corsair fighter, the Protoss reenter the fray with Dark Templar, which can merge to form the devastating Dark Archon. Unfortunately, units old and new still suffer from weak artificial intelligence in path finding.
Real-time strategy games don't get any more epic or any more satisfying. --Jack Gardiner

Th more money you make in world of warcraft, the more gears you can affort. Everything in wow is based on gold. Without gold you will never get to level 70. That's why many players by gold from gold sellers who sell it for real money. But have you ever wondered how do all these sellers make so much gold? They have the best gear and they still have tons of gold. The answer is simple - they know something, what other players don't know.
Everything has changed with Luke Brown's Gold Secret Guide written by a professional gold farmer. In the guide he reveals the same gold making strategies which are used by the best gold sellers in world of warcraft. When Luke started sharing these secrets, he had no idea how mad it was going to make the World of Warcraft gold selling companies.
While other wow gold making guides contain only some basic gold making tips and strategies, Luke Brown's Gold Secret Guide contains a lot of information about different methods such as making gold with Auction House. But the main strategy described in this guide shows you where (coordinates) and when should you grind for a gold.
So if you are really serious about making tons of gold in world of warcraft, if you really want to increase the amount of loot in your bags and trick yourself out so much sooner with a great epic mount, Luke Brown's Gold Secret Guide is what you need. Good luck.
In this article, I'm going to talk about two very easy ways to make gold, through stealth groups and solo instances. So let's begin...
Stealth groups can cash in for a pretty big amount of gold. Stealth groups consist of only rogues and druids. When you get together for stealth groups, your main goal is to stealth through instances just to farm the bosses.
This has most effectively been done in Dire Maul. It is still a great idea to go stealth running. Dire Maul is still a great place to farm for gold. The drops now won't be as lucrative because you can't sell the books for anything. You can still make money from the drops that come from the bosses though.
If you are a miner I strong suggest you get a stealth group to Dire Maul. You can farm the Thorium ore inside and still get boss loot for extra gold. Stealth runs can be used on most instances, they are most effective when you can complete the group with 2-3 characters. This will provide you with the most cash per drops. Dire Maul is one of the top instances for Stealth run, but with the release of TBC more instances for stealth runs will be popping up.
Solo Instances...
Soloing an instance is a great way to get cash at any level. Instances are scattered throughout each leveling bracket so it gives every player level 30+ the ability to farm instances.
Farming instances is great because a majority of the mobs will be elite mobs, they have higher drop rates of items that can sell nicely. Most instances give you a few guaranteed blue drops that you can sell for nice cash.
It's not a bad idea to drop down to LOW level zones at a high level.
I used to be very big in PvP on my Alliance mage. After every battleground I would spawn in Stormwind, I would immediately run to the Stockades, and begin AOE farming inside of the instance while waiting for the next queue.
Cloth sells for a great price and that's what you get from instances.
On most servers now, even Linen Cloth is selling just under 1 gold. You can take the cloth from these instances and turn it into a great profit. You get higher amount of cloth drop per drop because they are elite mobs.
World of Warcraft fast leveling guides are plenty. One of the most common questions asked by World of Warcraft players is how to level their characters quickly. Part of the enjoyment and appeal of WoW is the questing and interacting in game, but sometimes you just want to get your 33rd level Pally/Rogue/Warlock to 60-70 level as quickly as possible. So how do you accomplish this? Do you use a fast leveling guide?
Well there are quite a few ways in World of Warcraft to fast leveling while playing and here are some ideas for you:
1. This is by far the simplest way to fast leveling: make a hunter, concentrate on beast mastery, do not pickup any skills and just quest like crazy. Why specialize in beast mastery? Because your pet will act like another tank for you and enable you to take on all comers and survive. The cons: you will be poor, have no skills and might find yourself bored along the way. Pros: you will level very fast.
2. Roll yourself a warlock and purchase a leveling guide. Install the coordinate's mod and start questing as much as possible. Warlocks are one of the most capable and survivable classes in World of Warcraft. Specialize in Affliction talents and you should be able to fast level.
3. For enjoyment while fast leveling, roll a druid. This class is probably one of the most versatile classes because you get to cast spells, tank, heal and basically have fun. Because of this, the time will feel shorter and you will think you are leveling faster.
4. Roll up a rogue and concentrate on your killing talents. Rogues are great damage per second characters which played correctly can afford you lots of experience quickly when killing. You should be able to plow through enemies fast and in turn fast level.
5. Ok, here is a generic tip for all classes-do the quests. You gain experience both from killing the different monsters as well as completing the quests. Be sure to complete quests appropriate to your level. When you do this you maximize the experience you can gain. If you complete quests below your level, you won't gain as much experience.
The last thing I would say is get yourself one of the top World of Warcraft fast leveling guides that have been written by some of the best World of Warcraft players. These fast leveling guides really will help you with World of Warcraft fast leveling because they have all the details regarding quests, which order to complete them in, what monsters to kill most, coordinates to the map locations and more. You will pay some cash for a good guide, but it will repay you many times over.
Oh yeah, my favorite way in World of Warcraft to fast leveling a character is by using a Hunter. I like to solo, so having a hunter and a pet allows me to quest easily and take on higher level monsters that I might have trouble with if I wasn't a hunter. World of Warcraft fast leveling is definitely doable, you just have to have the right mix of strategies to accomplish it!
