Warcraft III Battle Chest Review
I finally returned to Warcraft III several years after purchasing it (and not finishing it). My problem at the time was that I played too many random maps, which ended up being the same thing over and over (settlement building, army building, attack, rinse, repeat) and I got tired of it. I never even finished the Alliance campaign.
In the meantime I played World of Warcraft (which is set four years after the events of Warcraft III) and then I decided to give Warcraft III another try, both to finish a game I never finished and to play through the storylines that led up to WoW. By this time I was familiar with the big characters and events, thanks to playing WoW and reading about the lore, but it was very exciting to actually play through them on my own. Part of the WoW setting is the aftermath of the invasion of the Burning Legion, so to see it all happen in Warcraft III was really quite amazing. While Warcraft I and II seem to be more straightforward (essentially dealing with the humans and the orcs battling each other), Warcraft III really expands the lore of the game world. Arthas falls, the Legion invades, the orcs travel to Kalimdor, the night elves reawaken the druids, etc. There are a lot of big events that you can play through in these four campaigns.
My only complaint would be that sometimes it gets a little repetitive with the settlement building aspect. I know this is the heart of a strategy game, but completing a chapter could take as long as two hours simply because you have to build everything up, create an army, attack an enemy outpost (thereby losing many units), and then re-building the army to do it all again. However, there are many other chapters that do not involve a high degree of settlement building, and some chapters are straightforward exploration and questing. So thankfully there is a variety of play styles across the campaigns.
Finally, regarding the Battle Chest product specifically: this is simply a fantastic value. It comes with separate discs for Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne, the original game manuals for each, as well as mini Brady game guides for each. Blizzard certainly did not skimp on the included materials for this collection.

The Mage class is one of the most popular classes in WoW. Extremely powerful with magic, a mage can really cause a lot of damage to more than one enemy at a time. Mages are especially known for their crowd control abilities, whether it be to freeze all enemies in place or polymorphing an irritating enemy into a sheep. Mages do have weaknesses, of course, and can be killed easily in close range combat. They tend to not do very well in confined dungeons or caves, and therefore take a lot of physical damage in no time at all. Their best bet is to stick to open spaces where they have room to run away if they need to. Also, they've more time to cast polymorph in wide open spaces. When it comes down to it, the mage is one of the most versatile classes in World of Warcraft. If you're new to being a mage, then here are a few tips that will help you level up easily: o Always start out with your most powerful spell when attacking a mob. Try to get as far away from him as possible. As soon as the first spell hits him, hurry up and cast it again. Just as long as you're far enough away, you should be able to have hit him twice before he gets to you. o Once a mob is right up on you, freeze him and back up some. If another mob attacks with him, freeze them both and turn the 2nd enemy into a sheep. After killing the first enemy, hurry up and heal yourself or drink a potion before the 2nd one comes out of his sheep form. o Always pack up on potions. You need as many healing potions as you can get. You should also get some elixir that will increase your spell power and intellect. Buy them at the World of Warcraft auction house whenever you find a good deal. Or, if you want to combine herbalism with alchemy, you can make your own! o Get yourself a wand. A wand is handier than a staff, since you can attack from a distance. They're also great to have when you're running low on mana. You can freeze your enemies, back up, and shoot away at them with your wand! o Never, ever forget your arcane intellect. You need to have that power up at all times, along with another of your choosing. Don't forget to make use of your elixirs, either. They can be very helpful. o Herbalism is a good profession for a mage in World of Warcraft. As you level up, you can learn a skill called "lifeblood". You can use it to heal and restore your HP in mid-battle! This, along with potions, will decrease your chances of dying. o Whenever you find yourself ambushed, try to run away if you can. Blink, freeze, blink, freeze, etc. If more enemies join in the attack and give chase while you're running, you're probably doomed. Still, blinking and freezing will give you somewhat of an advantage. Follow these tips and you'll find mage leveling to be a bit easier. Whether you want to become a fire, frost, or arcane mage in WoW, you will be able to level up more quickly if you follow these tips. dead to the world

World of Warcraft fast leveling guides are plenty. One of the most common questions asked by World of Warcraft players is how to level their characters quickly. Part of the enjoyment and appeal of WoW is the questing and interacting in game, but sometimes you just want to get your 33rd level Pally/Rogue/Warlock to 60-70 level as quickly as possible. So how do you accomplish this? Do you use a fast leveling guide? Well there are quite a few ways in World of Warcraft to fast leveling while playing and here are some ideas for you: 1. This is by far the simplest way to fast leveling: make a hunter, concentrate on beast mastery, do not pickup any skills and just quest like crazy. Why specialize in beast mastery? Because your pet will act like another tank for you and enable you to take on all comers and survive. The cons: you will be poor, have no skills and might find yourself bored along the way. Pros: you will level very fast. 2. Roll yourself a warlock and purchase a leveling guide. Install the coordinate's mod and start questing as much as possible. Warlocks are one of the most capable and survivable classes in World of Warcraft. Specialize in Affliction talents and you should be able to fast level. 3. For enjoyment while fast leveling, roll a druid. This class is probably one of the most versatile classes because you get to cast spells, tank, heal and basically have fun. Because of this, the time will feel shorter and you will think you are leveling faster. 4. Roll up a rogue and concentrate on your killing talents. Rogues are great damage per second characters which played correctly can afford you lots of experience quickly when killing. You should be able to plow through enemies fast and in turn fast level. 5. Ok, here is a generic tip for all classes-do the quests. You gain experience both from killing the different monsters as well as completing the quests. Be sure to complete quests appropriate to your level. When you do this you maximize the experience you can gain. If you complete quests below your level, you won't gain as much experience. The last thing I would say is get yourself one of the top World of Warcraft fast leveling guides that have been written by some of the best World of Warcraft players. These fast leveling guides really will help you with World of Warcraft fast leveling because they have all the details regarding quests, which order to complete them in, what monsters to kill most, coordinates to the map locations and more. You will pay some cash for a good guide, but it will repay you many times over. Oh yeah, my favorite way in World of Warcraft to fast leveling a character is by using a Hunter. I like to solo, so having a hunter and a pet allows me to quest easily and take on higher level monsters that I might have trouble with if I wasn't a hunter. World of Warcraft fast leveling is definitely doable, you just have to have the right mix of strategies to accomplish it! guitar straps dead to the world guitar straps

The Hunter is right at home in the untamed wild lands of World of Warcraft. The Hunter class is a perfect match for the scores of wild beasts that roam the vast wilderness of Azeroth. Their lightening quick reflexes, deadly accurate aim, and vast knowledge of the beasts of the land make the Hunter an extremely well balanced class. When effectively played, the hunter is not only a cunning solo fighter but they are also an excellent addition to any group as well as an extremely challenging PvP opponent. Hunters are skilled in a variety of ways that make perfect use of the wild environment in which they are accustomed. They are probably best known for their mastery of animals. Not only do they posses the abilities of tracking and taming them, but they can also befriend the various beasts of the wild. Spiders, tigers, unicorns, raptors and other various creatures can uniquely bond with a Hunter and become a close traveling and fighting companion. Hunters only travel with one pet at their side and they invest much time and effort into developing their pet's abilities and raising their strength. There are a plethora of various creatures for the Hunter to seek out and adapt with in World of Warcraft Hunters only wear the lightest of armors and therefore are extremely agile and are lightening quick. They are capable of a variety of defensive maneuvers and have a huge assortment of weapons at their disposal that can be equipped in either or both of their hands simultaneously. They can make use of guns or bows, and they are highly effective trappers. They are absolute masters when it comes to ranged weapons and they sport abilities that can enhance their effectiveness. Trapping is a great ability but using traps can be a tricky thing. Traps can only be placed outside of combat and then they can only be used one at a time. Because of this limitation you must strategize before the battle even takes place. The majority of hunters make use of the Immolation Trap at some point along the way, but it is not the only one. Different traps have differing and various uses. The Freezing Trap is excellent for its slowing effect and the Immolation Trap is a simple single target damaging trap. Even though they become increasingly ineffective in the higher levels of World of Warcraft, they can still make a huge difference in various situations. The Hunter class is brimming with usefulness and cunning. With there expert ways of the land, they make a great addition to any group and their unique skills are an awesome contribution to the various groups and communities of World of Warcraft. guitar straps
